Resumen

Supported Employment (SE) is a job placement methodology based on supports at the workplace, developed since the 80's. This article presents, for information purposes, an introduction to the supported employment model. The fundamentals of SE, phases and elements are described, and introduces a perspective of the situation of SE in Spain, some of the problems it faces, and an initial approach to the Latin American reality. This builds on several previous works of the author.
